Privacy policy

Last updated 20 July 2026

This policy explains what personal information Yesko Digitalcollects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and to give visitors in the EU and UK the information required by the GDPR.

Who is responsible

Yesko Digital (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party (POPIA) and data controller (GDPR) for information collected through this site. Our Information Officer is registered with the Information Regulator of South Africa. You can reach us at sales@yeskodigital.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form. That is your name, your email address, the service you selected, and the message you wrote. We also record the date and time you ticked the consent box.

Our server keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for a short period. These are used to rate-limit the enquiry form and to detect abuse — not to build a profile of you.

We do not collect special personal information, we do not collect information about children, and we do not buy or scrape contact details from anywhere else.

Why we collect it, and on what basis

We will not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to. We do not sell your information. Ever.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is stored in our internal operations system, which runs on Google Cloud (Firebase). Confirmation and notification emails are sent through Google Workspace. Both are operators (processors) acting on our instructions.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot check. Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser to confirm you are not automated software. It does not track you across websites.

Because these providers operate globally, your information may be processed outside South Africa or the EEA. Both operate under contractual safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, that require a comparable level of protection.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers, which is why you are not being shown a cookie banner. Turnstile may store a short-lived token strictly to complete its security check; it is not used to identify or track you.

If we ever introduce analytics or advertising technology, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the life of that relationship plus the period our tax and company law obligations require. Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted within three years. Technical logs are kept for a short period, typically under 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to:

Email sales@yeskodigital.com and we will action it. There is no charge, and withdrawing consent will never affect a service you are already receiving.

Security

Enquiries travel over encrypted connections and are stored in access- controlled systems restricted to Yesko Digital staff who need them. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously — and if a breach ever put your information at real risk, we would notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Complaints

Please raise it with us first — most things are quickly sorted out. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za. Visitors in the EU or UK may complain to their local supervisory authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use information you have already given us will be communicated directly.
